About Amy Schoppa

With 29 years of experience as an educator, I have honed a unique set of skills that I now bring to my work as a real estate broker. My journey began at Virginia Tech, where I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education, and I spent nearly three decades helping students achieve their goals and guiding them through many challenges. This wealth of experience has shaped my ability to listen, communicate effectively, and manage complex situations—skills that are essential when working with clients through the real estate process.

In transitioning into real estate, I’ve made it my mission to provide buyers, sellers, and investors with the support they need to make informed decisions and confidently take the next step in their real estate journey. My approach is grounded in the values I developed as an educator: patience, empathy, and a strong commitment to seeing my clients succeed.

I moved to Summerfield in 2008 with my husband and family, and since then, it has become home in every sense of the word. Our community here is something I am deeply invested in, and I’m passionate about contributing to its growth and vibrancy. Outside of real estate, you can often find me hiking the abundant trail systems throughout the Triad or paddleboarding on one of the local lakes while enjoying the natural beauty of the area.
